Branding, as we understand is an overarching term for creating & building a brand. BR Life, a renowned healthcare services brand of Padma Shree awardee Dr B R Shetty, has a chain of hospitals across India, Nepal & Egypt. Dr Shetty is a man who believes in providing quality & reliable healthcare services at affordable costs. When Tingg was entrusted with the task of creating the logo and master branding for the client, the values & ideologies of Dr Shetty together with the essence of the brand had to be translated lock stock & barrel into its ‘logo’.
Our creative team brainstormed for over a week to understand the DNA of the brand. A simple yet sophisticated logo, the elements of which are a sum total of the brand values was conceived. With the logo design & philosophy in place, next was the branding activity. The brand design guidelines – ‘The Style Guide’ was developed. The document comprehensively laid down the logo application and brand positioning for years to come. The master branding activity including the usage of the logo on every component, from stationery to uniforms to media to signages, was clearly defined.
